XRP Ledger Developers Release Pre-Launch Fix for Uncollateralized Lending Protocol

XRP Ledger developers have issued a second code amendment to correct their upcoming uncollateralized lending system while it remains in the validator voting phase.

· +2

XRP Ledger developers have published an updated code amendment, LendingProtocolV1_1, to repair the network's upcoming lending module before its initial release. The follow-up amendment addresses issues in the original LendingProtocol proposal while the code remains under review in the validator voting queue.

To activate on the network, ledger amendments must maintain at least 80% approval from trusted validators for a continuous two-week window. By setting both amendments as prerequisites, the network is designed to deploy the corrected architecture directly upon activation rather than patching after deployment.

Designed for institutional credit rather than collateralized liquidations, the protocol facilitates fixed-term, uncollateralized loans funded by pools. It relies on off-chain underwriting and first-loss capital buffers provided by loan brokers to cover potential defaults. The pre-launch adjustment follows an earlier patch for a dormant payment-engine vulnerability on the ledger.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
